How to Download Your RRB NTPC Graduate Final Result & CBAT Scorecard
- Visit the regional RRB website where you originally applied (Chandigarh, Mumbai, Ajmer, Chennai, Kolkata, Secunderabad, etc.). All 21 RRBs publish their own zone-wise PDFs.
- On the homepage, locate the link titled “CEN 05/2024 NTPC-Graduate Final Result” or “Provisional Panel for DV & Medical”.
- The merit list PDF lists roll numbers in ascending order, segregated by post (Station Master, Goods Train Manager, etc.) and by community (UR / EWS / OBC-NCL / SC / ST).
- For the CBAT scorecard, click the candidate login link, enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth, and download the PDF.
- The CBAT scorecard window is open only from 7 May to 22 May 2026. Download AND save a printed copy before it closes.
Mandatory Document Verification (DV) Checklist
The DV is the single biggest cause of last-mile disqualification. Carry both originals and two sets of self-attested photocopies of every document below:
- Matriculation (Class 10) certificate — only proof of date of birth accepted by Indian Railways.
- Graduation degree + final-year marksheet from a UGC-recognised university. Provisional certificate is accepted only with a college letter.
- Caste / Community certificate in the prescribed Government of India format (not a State format). EWS candidates need an Income & Asset certificate dated within the validity window.
- PwBD certificate from a competent medical board, if applicable.
- Photo ID — Aadhaar is preferred. PAN, Voter ID and Driving Licence are accepted as supporting ID.
- Discharge book for Ex-Servicemen.
- NOC from the current employer for serving Central / State / PSU employees.
- Passport-size photographs (8–10 copies, same as the one used on the application).
- Printed copies of the online application form, CBT-1, CBT-2, CBAT scorecards and final result page.
RRB NTPC Medical Examination Standards
Indian Railways classifies medical fitness into four categories. Your category depends on the post you are selected for:
- A-1 / A-2 / A-3 — Safety-critical posts like Station Master, Train Manager. Requires distant vision 6/6 in each eye without glasses, normal colour perception, and binocular vision.
- B-1 / B-2 — Non-safety posts like Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist. Allows corrected vision 6/9 with glasses, no fundus issues.
If you wear glasses for a Station Master post, you risk being declared medically unfit. Plan a pre-medical eye check with an ophthalmologist before reporting.
What if Your Roll Number is NOT in the Final List?
RRB always publishes a panel + standby list. Even if you missed the panel, do not assume the cycle is over:
- Compare your CBT-2 / CBAT score against the regional cut-off PDF published alongside the result.
- RRBs run Replacement Panels for up to 1 year — if a panel candidate fails DV / Medical or does not join, the next standby is called.
- Your next live opportunity: CEN 06/2025 NTPC-Graduate (next cycle, notification expected late 2026) and CEN 07/2025 NTPC-Undergraduate (CBT-1 ongoing on 7–9 May and 13–21 June 2026).
Common Mistakes That Cost a Final Selection
- Mismatched name spelling between Matric certificate and application — get a notarised affidavit BEFORE DV.
- Old-format caste certificate — only the prescribed Government of India format is accepted.
- Expired EWS certificate — must be in the financial year of application.
- Ignoring colour-blindness — even mild deuteranopia can disqualify a Station Master candidate. Test in advance.
- Travelling without printed e-call letter — Railway DV centres do NOT accept phone screenshots.
Post-Joining: What to Expect
After successful DV and Medical, expect an offer letter from the concerned Zonal Railway (not RRB). NTPC Graduate posts carry Pay Level 5 (Rs 29,200 – 92,300) for Senior Clerks / Station Masters and Pay Level 6 for Goods Train Manager, with full HRA, DA, TA, NPS and Railway medical benefits. Probation is 2 years. Inter-railway transfers can be requested only after the bond period.
